Since its inception, the Rajasthan Technical University has set new standards for technical
 education in the region. There are over 130 engineering colleges, 4 B.Arch colleges, and 
44 M.Tech colleges under its umbrella. Nearly 3 lakh students study in the colleges and 
institutes affiliated under RTU. The University enrolls students based on REAP ranks.
